About Revyou

Private, local AI peer review

Revyou is a desktop app that helps researchers review manuscripts with AI that runs entirely on their own computer. It works offline, needs no account, and never sends your work to a server.

Why local

Unpublished manuscripts are confidential, and many researchers (and their institutions) simply cannot upload them to a cloud service. Revyou takes the opposite approach: the model runs on your machine, and your manuscript never leaves it.

What it is, and what it isn't

Revyou is not a chat window over someone else's API. There are no API keys, no uploads, and no telemetry. Your model runs on your hardware, accelerated by your GPU when available, with CPU fallback.

On top of local inference, Revyou adds a review workflow: journal-style review templates, citation checks, and statistical tools (p-values, multiple-comparison correction, effect sizes, power) so a review can be verified, not just generated.

Who builds it

Revyou is built by a small independent team based in Zagreb, Croatia. It is free to use; Pro features are in early access.
